Psalm 62

You might just find yourself humming this tune, and remembering this message, throughout the day. It sure beats what normally inhabits our thoughts.

I've seen this pop-up on a few sites the last day or so as it ripples through the rarified air of the Reformed Blogosphere I immerse myself in.

Can I say - I just don't like it!
Why confess here? Because you tag your comments here as 'Cynical'! Perfect for me! Of course, beauty is in the ear of the behearer, so your mileage will certainly vary.

David, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, and I am honored that you chose to "cynically" post it here.

I am an old fuddy-duddy, and my tastes in music are definitely 19th century and prior, so I wasn't sure that I was going to like this when I first saw the venue in which it was performed. However, it only took a few seconds listening to realize what a beautiful setting it is for Psalm 62.

Isn't it great that we are all "wired" differently?
