Do we really love fellow believers? Watson mentions that there was a tendency for strife and dissension in the English church of his day. Are things any better, here and now? Hardly.
Instead of more programs, and more "novel" approaches to evangelism, it appears that we need more love:
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:34-35, ESV)
Does the world know that we are Jesus' disciples?
