So What?

Senator Arlen Specter defects, changes party affiliation to become a Democrat.

So, what exactly is going to change? It is not like he has been voting lately with the Republicans.

One positive: We no longer have to apologize for this RINO.

Second (possible) positive: I just heard Bill Kristol say that this is a good thing for the Republicans due to the fact that Democrats are going to have to rule for the next year and a half without being able to blame Republicans for obstructionism. As a result, the American people will get a chance to see just how bad things are when the Democrats are in charge.

We will see, but I am glad to tell Senator Specter to make sure that door doesn't hit him on the way out.

There is a catchy music video making the rounds, called "Born Again American". Maybe it has already hit your email box. Catchy, yes, but in the same way that bait is "catchy" to fish.

"Born Again American" is the product of liberal, leftist, religion hating Norman Lear, founder of "People for the American Way". Here is a good analysis of this insidious video:
